Cooks River Walk – 21 March 2021

I managed to get outdoors during an extended period of heavy rain that the whole region was experiencing. I walked down to the Cooks River with my camera and umbrella.

Here is some of what I saw –

Quite a bit of fungi had popped up. Below is a small Australian Swamphen chick at the Cup and Saucer Creek Wetlands.

Here is the waterfall in Cup and Saucer Creek –

The pollution boom at the Boat Harbour had become disconnected at one end –

I spotted the Boat Harbour Tawnies –

Some more fungi – stinkhorns (Phallus rubicundus)

And a pair of Eastern Rosellas were enjoying the new growth –

Some tiny Cruentomycena viscidocruenta

Some Magpie Larks –

A Little Corella –

And a Silver Gull –
