Mudlarks Bird Survey – 8 June 2021

I got up early in the morning and walked down to the Cooks River at the Lang Street Bridge to take part in the monthly bird survey with the Mudlarks.

It was a cold morning, but we still spotted a reasonable number of birds. This months survey we downstream to Wave Rock at the Gold Club and then returned on the far side of the river. Here are some of the birds we saw –

Chestnut Teal

Magpie Lark

Caspian Tern

Sulphur-crested Cockatoo

Grey Butcherbird

Masked Lapwing

Crested Pigeons

Rainbow Lorikeets

Little Corellas
