I was in Blackheath for the Kameruka Bushwalking Club reunion, and I was staying up there at a friend’s place. On the second day of the reunion, I got up early and went to Govetts Leap for the sunrise.
The dawn lighting was not great. There was no valley mist nor a group of clouds close to the sun, but the light was nice and soft on the cliffs of the Grose Valley.
I stayed at the lookout for an hour or so, photographing the conditions as the light changed.
Here are a few of my photos from that morning.
More photos are on my website here.
