I joined a group of friends for the annual ride over the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The ride is a celebration of cycling and a protest at the lack of facilities for cycling. For example, recent announcements of NSW Government infrastructure spending does not include any funding for cycleways.
We started the ride from Hyde Park, and after a loop through the city we went over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to North Sydney.
After the ride, we rode back to the city and then along the foreshores to Glebe, where we stopped for dinner before riding home.
