With the recent World Parks Congress held in Sydney some interesting time lapse videos were produced highlighting two national parks near Sydney. The videos were filmed by Filippo Rivetti.
Here is one on Royal National Park –

And the same author’s video on Blue Mountains National Park –

Both videos have some nice footage and are very well done. I do find the use a rail to move the camera a bit overdone however. Also – you get the impression that both parks only experience sunny weather.
For comparison, here is an older time lapse video filmed in the Blue Mountains that I think is also quite nice –
It was filmed in a few days by Konstantin Basov.
For contrast, there is this recent film of mainly rock climbing and base jumping in the Blue Mountains –
BLUETOPIA from Mission Control Collective on Vimeo.
It looks like it was mainly filmed using Go-pro’s and has some nice filming from a drone that shows the cliffs very well. I’m not sure about the legality of base jumping within Blue Mountains National Park. It also features climbers on the Three Sisters at Katoomba. Climbing there has been banned now for many years due to their cultural significant to Aboriginals.
