I decided to make a repeat trip to Northern Beaches in order to get some more photographs of the family of Peregrine Falcons.
I did see both the adult Peregrine Falcons, and at least one juvenile flying, but I also spent long periods with no action.
Here is the adult female Peregrine Falcon –
And here is a juvenile –
Then the adult did some fast flying nearby.
A bit later it went on another flight –
I eventually spotted a juvenile on the cliffs –
I watched it for a while, but then it suddenly took off and flew around the cliffs out of sight.
The adult female was back in the air –
It did some nice flying, but it did come on for a dive. So perhaps the juvenile was being fed? I moved further away.
She later perched –
Then the adult male appeared –
It perched out of sight on the cliffs. The female was still in the same place –
And a last photo of a passing Caspian Tern –
