I made a visit to Barton Park, and then later visited a section of the Cooks Over on my way home to what birds were around.
For early Spring, a very hot day was forecast (it reached 33° C), so I started early and finished in the early afternoon.
At Barton Park, I first visited Landing Lights Wetland, and the usual birds were present.

A second Royal Spoonbill arrived.

And a second White Faced Heron flew in –
The Spoonbills had a bit of conflict.
And then a Brown Goshawk arrived.
It flew over and disappeared into the mangroves.

At Gough Whitlam Park, I looked for the resident Tawny Frogmouths but could not set them. I assumed they had moved to a nesting site.
