This was another trip to Long Reef in order to photograph the Ospreys and whatever other birds may be present.

I did see a number of Ospreys but there was not that much action during my visit. No hunting for fish close to the rock platform.
When I arrived, I spotted an Osprey perched on the northern side of the Headland –

It was soon joined by second Osprey.

This one decided to do a poo –

The other one looked like it was about to take off.

But then it settled back down.

And a minute or so later it did take off –

The other one watched –

Another poo –

And it too took to the air.

They flew out of sight. I walked back to the rock platform.

Then an Osprey turned up on the same trees as earlier, but this one had a fish.

It was suddenly disturbed by a Raven, so it took off –

It landed on a rock near the island, and continued eating –
