More Cooks River Birds – 1 May 2026

I had a few hours free in he afternoons I decided to walk along the Cooks River between Illawarra Road and Gough Whitlam Park to see what birds were out.

I spotted Sacred Kingfishers a few times – but when they were flying up and down or across to the far side.  So not many photos this visit.
