Wolli Creek Fungi – 21 May 2026

I did two trips on this day. First was a visit to Wolli Creek Regional Park to see if any fungi was out. Later, in the afternoon, I visited The Cooks River to photograph birds.

I didn’t find that much fungi, but what I did find was quite good, including a few waxcaps.

Cuphophyllus austropratensis

Lactarius eucalypti

Gliophorus graminicolor

Russula persanguinea

Mycena sp.

And some orchids are starting to flower.
