Fungi at Ferndale Park – 4 June 2026

I was keen to do more fungi photo trips after recent rain falls, even though the volume of rain was not that great, and the amount of fungi I had been finding was no where near as much as previous seasons at this time of the year. So I headed up to Chatswood to spend the morning in Ferndale Park.

Here is some fungi that I found –

Russula rosea

Hygrocybe batesii

Hygrocybe batesii and Cortinarius sp.

Ramaria lorithamnus

Hygrocybe sp.

Inocybe sp.

Clavulinopsis sp.

Hygrocybe viscidibrunnea

Cortinarius sp.

Microglossum viride

Clavulinopsis sp.

Laccaria sp.

Descolea recedens

Cortinarius sp.

Perhaps Clavicorona taxophila

Cantharellus cinnabarinus

Cyptotrama asprata

Phaeoaphelaria sp.
