Sassafras Gully Fungi – 4 July 2017

My last visit a week before was quite good, so I was keen to return to see what other fungi were out. In particular, I was hoping some of the species I had found last year to make their appearance again.

On this visit, I found a quite a lot of fungi out – including quite a few waxcaps, but the ones I was after seemed to elude me. 

On this trip, I entered the valley via the track at the end of Sassafras Gully Road and returned via the Wiggins Track.
