Fungi at Bola Creek – 30 June 2018

This was another scheduled field activity of The Sydney Fungal Studies Group Inc. It was a visit to Bola Creek in Royal National Park. On the morning, we found a reasonable amount of fungi out, and like other locations, we observed only a very limited number of waxcaps.

It was also worth taking some photos of some of the very tiny fungi that was found. Here are two examples. Both were shot using an ultra-macro lens and taking multiple photos and then focus stacking them –
