Newington Armory – Fungi – 30 March 2019

This was an interesting visit to the Newington Armory part of Sydney Olympic Park with The Sydney Fungal Studies Group Inc. The group had been invited there to conduct a fungal survey.

The habitat was mainly open woodland. A range of fungi was observed. Here are some  –

An interesting observation was that some of the paspalum was infected with Ergot.
