Wolli Creek Nature Walk – 21 July 2020

I went on an afternoon walk down Wolli Creek between Bexley North and Tempe. There had been some reasonable rain in recent days and I was expecting some fungi to be out, but the fungi turned out to be very dissapointing.

What were good, however were the orchids. I found lots of Greenhood Orchids or two different species out all the way along the valley.

Between Bexley North and Turrella Reserve, I didn’t take any photos of fungi. I found a little out at the lower area near the M5 Exhaust Stack. But all of what I found was old and dried out –
