Birds at Nurragingy Reserve – 31 August 2020

Nurragingy Reserve is always a nice place to visit. I spent a pleasant and relaxing day there wandering around with my camera.

Here are some of the birds I saw –

Pacific Baza

Golden Whistler

Grey Fantail

Striated Pardalote

Yellow-faced Honeyeater

The wattle in flower seemed to be attracting a lot of insects.

And the Silvereyes were perhaps eating the insects (or the nectar?)

Eastern Yellow Robin

Rose Robin

Fan-tailed Cuckoo

Yellow Thornbill

Musk Lorikeet

Australasian Grebe

Little Pied Cormorant

Eastern Spinebill

I often look our for the Azure Kingfishers on visits to Nurragingy. I did see one, but it was a long way off and hard to photograph.
