Central Coast Wetlands – 9 October 2020

I thought it about time to visit the Central Coast Wetlands (Pioneer Dairy) at Wyong again.

This visit, compared to some of my previous ones was relatively quiet. Here are some of the birds I photographed –

Pelicans

White-breasted Woodswallows

Welcome Swallows

Whistling Kites

Here you can see a Woodswallow harassing a the Kite –

The Whistling Kites have a nest on the far side of the wetlands. You can just make out two chicks in the nest.

The adult flies off –

White-necked Heron

White-faced Heron

Intermediate Egret

Cattle Egrets

Royal Spoonbill

Little Pied Cormorant

Black Swans

Pied Butcherbird
