After my early morning visit to Sydney Park, I decide to spend the rest of the day near South Head. I caught a train to the Quay and a ferry to Watsons Bay. Then after fish and chips for lunch, I walked out to the Gap Bluff Lookout.
The views were great as usual, but a high temporary fence makes photography a lot more difficult.
I then stated walking along the Coastal Path south. On the way I encountered this new structure. It is a fixed mirror allowing you to look down the cliffs. Its a very narrow field of view however given the size of the structure.
This is a very scenic part of the coast.
At Christison Park, I am always on the lookout for Nankeen Kestrels. I have often seen one hunting. This time, I was about to leave the area, when I looked back and spotted one fly up onto a roof. I headed back, and spent the rest of my visit watching this beautiful bird in action.
I also kept a look on the rain radar, as it was stormy.
Back to the Nankeen Kestrel.
It has found a nice snack.
While it eats it always remains very vigilant.
Storms were now getting close, so I walked to a nearby bus stop and headed home.
