Fungi at Hazelbrook – The North Waterfall Walk – 5 June 2021

I was on a visit  Hazelbrook, and had the chance to look for fungi on the walk that goes to Horseshoe, Oakland and Burgess Falls. I was accompanied by one of my sisters.

The fungi that we saw was reasonable but not great. Most of what we found was in one small spot. Here is it –

Hygrocybe sp.

Ramariopsis sp.

Hygrocybe cantherellus

Hygrocybe sp.

Ramariopsis kunzei

Ramariopsis sp.

Artomyces colensoi

Ramariopsis sp. at base of this mushroom –

Clavulina subrugosa

Caterpillar infected with a fungus

Discinella terrestris

Hydnum repandum
