Day 46 of lockdown. Another pleasant late afternoon trip – cycling to Sydney Park, and then once there, walking around looking for birds.
Here are some of the birds I saw at the park –

Australasian Reed Warbler
Hardheads
Welcome Swallow
Australasian Grebes
I was pleased to spot one flying from the far end of the pool towards me. Its rare to see these birds flying.
I was also looking out for Rails – but this trip I didn’t manage to see any long enough to photograph them. I certainly could hear at least two Lewin’s Rails.
