Picnic Time – Callan Park – 18 September 2021

Day 84 of lockdown. With a very slight relaxation of lockdown conditions, picnics of up to five fully vaccinated adults are now allowed, as long as they are held within everyone’s travel limits. Thanks to Martin and Steffy for organising a picnic at Callan Park.

The picnickers were Martin, Steffy as well as John and Chuin Nee and their children Jasper and Sebastian, and myself. All of us reside within the Inner West LGA.

We met at the bouldering area near Road Point at Callan Park and had a nice picnic on the grass. There were lots of other people picnicking, but all the groups were well separated.

But, near the end of our eating and drinking, it started raining and we withdrew to a shelter area nearby.

Here is a Lacewing

After our picnic, we explored some of Callan Park. It is an interesting place with many beautiful nooks to explore.

It was great to catch up with the others.
