It had been a while since I had been out on Malabar Headland, so I though I would make another visit to see what birds and whales were around. And it was one of the Sundays the eastern part of the National Park was open to the public.
It turned out to be a fairly quiet day – but it was nice and relaxing to be out in a beautiful environment experiencing Nature.
I was on the lookout for birds. I dint see any Peregrine Falcons this visit, but at least one appeared to be around.
Here are a pair of Pied Cormorants flying past –
Here is another that has caught a fish –
Plenty of Gannets cruised past looking for fish.
And a Caspian Tern –
Here is a New Holland Honeyeater –
Here is a Gannet sequence –
I did see a few whales – but they were a long way out and not particularly active. No dolphins or seals.
