I spent a pleasant morning with the Tempe Birdos at their monthly bird survey. This month I joined the group surveying Tempe Reserve.
We observed a nice range of birds.
Little Corellas
Chestnut Teals
Little Black Cormorant
Little Pied Cormorants
Little Corellas
Striated Heron
Noisy Miner
Magpie Lark
As usual, the two surveying groups met back at Tempe Reserve for morning tea. It sounded like the group at the Wetlands observed a good range of small birds.
After the survey, I walked down to Barton Park (see next post), and at Cahill Park I photographed this Australasian Darter –
