The Greenway Bird Survey – along the Greenway between Taverners Hill and Hawthorne had been shifted this month from Wednesday to Thursday. I was up early and able to attend.
Here are some of the birds we saw –
Spotted Pardalote

Red Wattlebird

Australasian Figbird

We witnessed an interesting encounter between a Willie Wagtail and a cat. The Wagtail was harassing the cat. Perhaps it had a nest nearby and was trying to encourage the cat from having the area.

Red Wattlebird

Superb Fairy-wren

Silvereye

Striated Heron

Australasian Figbird

Crested Pigeon

As usual, we finished the survey with coffee at the cafe in the Dog Park.
