Climbing at Dural – 30 September 2023

I joined my friends John and Chuin Nee and their two boys, Jasper and Sebastian for an afternoon of rock climbing at a crag at Dural.

The crag was a short talk along afire road from the end of Quarry Road at Dural.

On the walk to the crag, I was on the lookout for orchids. I found this nice Red Beard OrchidCalochilus paludosus

And then we left the fire road, for a short walk along track to the crag.

I spotted this rather old Waratah

We did sone easy climbs at the crag. well climbs with easy grades, but we found them quite    hard. Here is Seby –

And his older brother Jasper –

Walking back out I spotted more orchids.

Copper Beard Orchid – Calochilus campestris –
