I took part in the monthly bird survey along the Dulwich Hill part of The Greenway.
The highlight this survey was spotting a Leaden Flycatcher.
Conditions for photography were very bad with a heavy cloud cover. But at least it did not rain.
Here are some of the birds we saw –
Rainbow Lorikeet
Red Wattlebird
Brush Turkeys
Australian Raven
Australasian Figbird
And here is the Leaden Flycatcher –
We have seen Leaden Flycatchers before on the survey – but they are rare birds in the inner west.
New Holland Honeyeaters
Red Wattlebird
New Holland Honeyeater
Little Wattlebird
New Holland Honeyeater
And as usual, we finished with a coffee and chat in a nearby cafe.
