Ferndale Park Fungi – 16 June 2024

I visited two reserves on this day, Ferndale Park in the morning and then Blue Gum Reserve in the afternoon. Both are at Chatswood. I had recently been regularly visiting Ferndale Park, so this is an update to the fungi there.

Here is a selection of what I spotted –

Old Clavaria pusio

Gliophorus graminicolor

Gloioxanthomyces chromolimoneus

Gliophorus graminicolor

Hygrocybe batesii

Hygrocybe sp.

Hygrocybe anomala

Hygrocybe cantherellus

Humidicutis sp.

Gliophorus graminicolor

Hygrocybe cantherellus

Humidicutis sp.

Gliophorus graminicolor

Cortinarius rotundisporus

Ramariopsis sp. ?

Cuphophyllus aurantiopallens

Clavaria zollingeri

Humidicutis sp.

Gliophorus viscidibrunnea

There had been a very good selection of waxcaps. I then headed to a local park to have lunch before visiting Blue Gum Reserve.
