It was time once again, for the Dulwich Hill section of the Greenway Bird Survey.
The group meets outside Waratah Mills Light Rail Station at 7:30 am.
While waiting for people to arrive, we watched a Noisy Miner at a nest very high in a nearby tree –
This New Holland Honeyeater was doing its best to act like a hummingbird –
And further along, we spotted this Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike, a fairy rare bird on this part of The Greenway.

Grey Fantail
It was busy hoovering up flying insects –
Silvereyes
Red Wattlebird
Crested Pigeon
After the survey, we headed to a nearby cafe for coffee. This had been a nice start to the day.
