Birds along Terrys Creek – 24 August 2024

In the afternoon, I travelled up to Epping via the metro, and then walked down Pembroke Road to Terrys Creek. I was wanting to spot some Powerful Owls, and hopefully some newly fledged owlets. But despite a lot of looking, I didn’t see any.

But there were plenty of other birds –

Laughing Kookaburra

Brush Turkey

Brown Geryones

Variegated Fairy-wrens

Lewin’s Honeyeater

White-browed Scrubwren

Crimson Rosella

Grey Fantail

I walked down to Browns Waterhole, then back the way I had come.
