Fungi at Wolli Creek – 27 April 2025

A few days earlier, I had done a bird trip in Wolli Creek Regional Park. Now, I was keen to visit the park again to see how the fungi was going after recent rain.

I found a reasonable amount out, including some waxcaps. Here is a selection of what I found –

This was the highlight – finding some Hygrocybe taekeri
