After finding some great fungi at Ferndale Park the day before, I decided to head up to Springwood and see what fungi was out now at Birdwood Gully at Springwood. Sue joined me. It turned out the fungi was not as good as I was hoping for, but we still found a pretty good variety out, including a number of waxcaps (but each not that abundant).

Here is a selection of what we found –
