I decided on a short trip to Wolli Creek Regional Park to get an update on the fungi after recent rain.

I found a reasonable amount of fungi out. Here is a selection of photos –
Ramariopsis crocea
This species normally appears in their same spot each season. This time it has taken a long time to finally show up.
Tremella mesenterica

Ramaria sp.

Hygrocybe sp.

Glutinoglossum sp. (or Geoglossum sp.?)

I was pleased to also find a few Hygrocybe aurantipes out. This was in a place where I have seen them in the past and had been looking out for them.

Nearby were some Hygrocybe astatogala –

Cortinarius sp.

Cystolepiota sp.

I was pleased and also surprised to see another Hygrocybe astatogala growing in the floor of cave.

Cuphophyllus austropratensis

Mycena sp. and Ramaria sp. (or Phaeoclavulina sp.?)

Clavulina sp.

Clavulinopsis sp.

Last visit, I had seen many very tiny Gliophorus graminicolor coming up. Now they are fully grown and doing well –

Zooming in you can see tiny bugs on the fungus –

Gliophorus graminicolor – old ones can turn pink

Gliophorus graminicolor

And this green waxcap is different. The rare Humidicutis viridimagentea –

Further down the track, I spotted this small one coming up. I thought it was probably Hygrocybe taekeri (and a later visit showed this was correct).

Lycoperdon sp.

The beautiful light blue mushrooms I had observed before were still present. Entoloma virescens group –

And nearby was a singe Hygrocybe batesii –

Clavulina sp.

Clavulinopsis amoena

And a lot of these orchids are starting to appear. Pterostylis concinna –
