Sue join me for another day on Malabar Headland. As usual, our aim was to observe the resident Peregrine Falcons but we were also happy to see any other raptors. And there are Whales, Dolphins and Seals to look out for.

Near the carpark, we spotted a Black-shouldered Kite sitting on top of a sewer vent.

We watched it for about half and hour to see if it would fly. But it seemed ver content to stay where it was, despite being harassed by Noisy Miners.

We then continued on our way into the National Park. Here is a New Holland Honeyeater –

At the Peregrine Falcon nesting spot, we soon spotted single bird perched on the cliffs.

It took off.

Unfortunately, that was our only Peregrine Falcon observation of the day.
Here is a hunting Australasian Gannet –

A Pacific Reef Heron –

It landed on the cliffs near Boora Point.
