I met up with Sue at Maroubra Beach and then we headed out to spend most of the day out in Malabar Headland National Park.

Whenever we visit Malabar Headland, we hope to observe Peregrine Falcons, but it is best to go during the courting and breeding season.
On the walk out there were lots of New Holland Honeyeaters hunting for insects.

We spent most of the day sitting on the cliffs, hoping a Peregrine Falcon would appear. We did not spot any dolphins, seals or turtles.
Pied Cormorant

After lunch, we met up with Alana, on here daily walk. Not long after, a single Peregrine Falcon (female) appeared. But it was a very brief appearance. It flew past us, then circled around and went past us again and flew out of sight.

Crested Tern

Walking back to the Beach, we spotted a Nankeen Kestrel –

It took off and started hunting.

It dived.

It went out of sight behind vegetation, but we later spotted it with a nice skink.
