I had a very pleasant day spent in the Cooks River area with Valerie and Sue. After meeting at Valerie’s house, we walked to a nearby cafe and after coffee and cake we walked down to the Cooks River. We then headed downstream to Gough Whitlam Park, and later headed back upstream and walked all the way up to Canterbury Road. Along the way we saw a good variety of birds.
