This was another day finding amazing fungi in Birdwood Gully at Springwood and then trying to document it with my camera.

I was very pleased to find quite a few of these tiny but very rare Parrot Waxcaps. And they were in good condition.

These were the first of this species I had seen this season.
I was very pleased with what I had found and photographed. I then walked back up to Springwood and headed to the Royal Hotel to watch the World Cup.
