I spent a nice day at Bola Creek photographing fungi. Like on previous trips, I walked down from Waterfall Station via the Couranga Track.
Its the time of year when waxcaps come out, and I was not disappointed. A lot were out. Here are some that I saw –
Hygrocybe sp.
Gliophorus graminicolor
These ones are perhaps ore likely to be Gliophorus pseudograminicolor
And this may be Gliophorus viridis –
A different green waxcap, Humidicutis helicoides –
Hygrocybe aurantiopallens
Hygrocybe austropratensis
Gliophorus chromolimoeus
Hygrocybe aurantipes
in the above photo, you can see the complexity of their gills.
Hygrocybe anomola var. anomola
Hygrocybe anomola var. ianthinmarginata
Hygrocybe cantherellus
Hygrocybe erythrocrenata
Hygrocybe sp.
Perhaps Hygrocybe collucera –
Hygrocybe sp.
Hygrocybe reesiae
Hygrocybe lilaceolamellata
Hygrocybe astatogala
Hygrophorus involutus
Hygrocybe sp.
Gliophorus sp.
Hygrocybe leucogloea
Porpolomopsis lewelliniae

Again – you can see the complex gills of this waxcap.
