Birds at Tempe – 11 July 2020

I enjoyed an interesting morning at Tempe with the Tempe Birdos for their monthly bird survey. This time, and for the first time, I joined the group surveying at the Reserve rather than the wetlands.

Here are some of the birds we saw.

Little Egret

Crested Pigeon

Sacred Kingfisher

Willie Wagtail

Magpie Lark

Great Egret

Very distant – a Pied Cormorant and an Australasian Darter

Fan-tailed Cuckoo

We also saw a Blue-tongued Skink
