Birds at Mt Annan and Camden – 5 January 2021

I was keen to return to Mt Annan Botanic Gardens to see what birds were out, and was joined by Sue and Valerie. We had a pleasant day, but we didn’t see tooo many birds – it was perhaps a bit hot.

Here are some of the birds we saw at the Gardens –

Red Rumped Parrot

Red-browed Finch

Eastern Rosellas

Galahs

Superb Fair-wren

Australasian Grebes

Royal Spoonbills

Pied Cormorant

Willie Wagtail

White-plumed Honeyeaters

After the gardens, we headed out to the nearby Cycle Path on the Nepean River at Camden. Not as many birds as our previous visit.

Grey Fantails

Yellow-faced Honeyeater

Even though we didn’t see as many birds as we would have liked, it was still a pleasant outing. Thanks to Sue and Valerie for great company, and Valerie for driving.
