The Larrairremener Tabelti Walk – 6 May 2021

We had to wait at Cynthia Bay at the south end of Lake St Clair until the mid afternoon for our minibus to Launceston. After a hearty breakfast at the cafe, I thought it would be nice to walk around the loop of the Larrairremener Tabelti – the Aboriginal Cultural Walk again.

I was nice to repeat this short walk. The conditions were nice with mist between the trees and some great fungi to observe on the forrest floor.

Hygrocybe batesii

Gliophorus chromolimoneus

Hygrocybe sp.

Porpolomopsis lewelliniae

Ascocoryne sarcoides

Cortinarius rotundisporus

Cortinarius sinapicolor

Singerocybe clitocyboides and Scutellinia scutellata

And some more Hygrocybe batesii

When the track goes back down to the level of the river, there is a Huon Pine to see.

A little further downstream. I crossed a bridge and went a short way up the Shadow Lakes Track. More nice fungi –

Ramaria sp.

Porpolomopsis lewelliniae

Hygrocybe anomala

Gliophorus graminicolor

Hygrocybe batesii

Panellus longinquus

Clavulinopsis amoena
