Fungi at the Upper Natone Reserve – 9 May 2022

This was the day I was flying home to Sydney. But my flight was not till the mid afternoon. So that allowed us enough time to visit another reserve for some more fungi photography. We visited the Upper Natone Reserve, south of Burnie, a place neither my sister or myself had been to before. It was a pleasant rural drive to the Reserve and once there we did a circuit walk around a small lake. The walk took us through a range of forest types.

Bisporella citrina

I would think that the circuit walk would normally take about 30 minutes, but stopping and looking for fungi and then taking photos takes much longer. We only had about 90 minutes available for our wander. This was good for a reasonable visit, but we certainly could have spent more time there.
