I joined the Greenway Birdos for their monthly survey along the Greenway – in a loop from Waratah Mills Light Rail Station.
Here are some of the birds we recorded in the survey –
Red Wattlebirds
Australian Raven
New Holland Honeyeater
White-headed Pigeon
This Pigeon was a new bird for us on the survey.
Willie Wagtail
The survey ended with morning tea at local cafe. After this I walked home via Morton Park. I wanted to check out the nesting Tawny Frogmouth.
I could see no clear evidence of any chicks.
