Narawang Wetlands – 3 February 2023

I visited Narawang Wetlands in the morning – and was there from about 8:15 am till 11 am. During my visit, I did not spot any of the Black-backed Bitterns despite a lot of looking.

The most unusual thing I saw was a pair of Ring-tailed Possums climbing through some trees a short way downstream.

Near the Avenue of Oceana, I saw this Brush Turkey sitting on its mound –

Than the Ring-tailed Possums. I was alerted to them by some harassing Noisy Miners –

Back at the main pond – a Little Pied Cormorant
