Greenway Bird Survey – 10 May 2023

It was time for the monthly bird survey along The Greenway – between Taverners Hill and Hawthorne Light Rail Stations.

At Taverners Hill Station – it was nice and sunny, and a lot of the small birds were active. Including some Spotted Pardalotes

And a flock of Silvereyes flew past –

Lower down on the path, we spotted a Grey Fantail

At Marion Street, we spotted two White-faced Herons

And further along, a Rainbow Lorikeet

And a Laughing Kookaburra

As usual, the group finished off with coffee at a nearby cafe. It had been pleasant morning.
