Lane Cove Valley Fungi Walk – 16 May 2023

This was an excellent day where I walked from Macquarie Park Station to Chatswood visiting three main fungi sites along the way. During the day, I found some excellent and very interesting fungi.

Lane Cove Valley

This is a small rainforest remnant along the Land Cove River that often has interesting fungi. The main one I was looking for – Gliophorus psittacinus group, was not out yet, but some other nice fungi was.

Here are a few I saw on the way to the rainforest patch –
