I had an interesting time at Barton Park, and mainly at the Landing Lights Wetland photographing birds. This was a morning visit.

The highlight was watching the Australian Spotted Crake having a bath.
Here are some of the birds I saw –
Red-browed Finch

Red Wattlebird

New Holland Honeyeater

When I arrived, not long after 9 am, there were no Pied Stilts at the Wetland. But they arrived eventually, flying in in three groups.

This was a good session at the Park. As well as me taking photos, there were another ten bird photographers wandering around.
