Wolli Creek Walk – 21 January 2024

Yet another hot day was forecast – so I decided to do a short local walk – visiting Wolli Creek Regional Park. Being hot – the birds were not very active. I was also on the lookout for any fungi – but found very little out – none worth photographing.

Here is a Red-browed Finch with courtship material –

This was at Paperbark Creek.

A few more birds –

Laughing Kookaburras

King Parrot

While the birds were not active, the Grey-headed Flying Foxes were. Quite a few of those flying are females with babies clinging to them.

A short but interesting visit.
