Another hot and humid day. I seen the early morning, before it got too hot at Barton Park. But despite an early start – not that many birds were out.
Here are some birds I saw at Landing Lights Wetland –
Pied Stilts
Little Pied Cormorant (and a Little Black Cormorant)
Red Wattlebird
Pied Stilt
Silvereye
I then headed down the Spring St Canal. Looking into the old sporting fields, I could see no Nankeen Kestrels this visit.
New Holland Honeyeaters
Brown Honeyeater
Fan-tailed Cuckoo
White-browed Scrubwren
And now back at the Wetlands.
Pied Stilt
White-faced Heron
Chestnut Teals
Pied Stilts
White-faced Heron
I left not long after 11 am.
