Taronga Zoo Visit – 1 February 2024

Sue had suggested a trip to the Zoo. Valerie was not able to join us this time. We entered via the lower entrance and first visited the Red Pandas

Some of them were quite active.

Then up to the Squirrel Monkeys

Then to the Binturong

Then to the Rainforest Aviary –

We then visited the Sumatran Tigers

Here is one of the Gorillas

We next visited the new aviary adjacent to the Blue Mountains Bushwalk section. This has a nice range of native birds.

We wanted to stay longer, but it was time for the Bird Show.

We  then headed back to the new aviary.

We then wanted to visit the new Nocturnal House. on the way we stopped to look for the Platypus. No sign of it – but plenty of Turtles
