In the morning, I visited Wolli Creek Regional Park for a short visit – mainly to check out how the fungi was going. It was not that different to my previous visit the week before.
Ramariopsis crocea
This was the first fresh one I had seen for a fair while. I hope more appears.
Humidicutis viridimagentea
This is the same one I had seen last visit. Compared to that almost all the green colour has gone, it is now showing a fair bit of magenta. Here is another view –
Here is the other waxcap nearby. It is looking pretty poor now. I am not sure what it is.
These were new and fresh – Gloioxanthomyces chromolimoneus –
I continued downstream towards Turrella Reserve.
Cortinarius rotundisporus
Cortinarius sp.
Rickenella fibula
I continued down the valley and visited a site below the old quarry. There were no waxcaps, but some coral.
Clavulinopsis sulcata
Calocera sp.
And I did see a lot of orchids, including quite a few Pterostylis concinna that are now out –
Epacris longiflora
